Finger Lakes Leadership

Leadership Training Program

Finger Lakes Leadership, now in its 9th successful year, is part of a national leadership trend, which has proven to be an invaluable resource for countless chambers and their members.

A need for skilled employees, managers, and leaders faces many companies today.  In response, we are proud to offer the Leadership program, formerly named "Leadership Geneva", to members of the Geneva Area Chamber as well as the Canandaigua, Seneca and Yates Chambers.  The goals are to assist in developing leaders within organizations, increase employee retention, decrease recruitment time and expense, and provide opportunities for personal growth and community and workplace leadership for participants.

We invite you to nominate an employee or yourself, for enrollment in Finger Lakes Leadership's Class of 2010.  Your nominee will enhance regional knowledge, develop critical community connections and hone professional skills.  This class of 2010 will also benefit from the expert training provided by Unlimited Coaching Solutions, a highly respected, Rochester-based firm specializing in the training of top level managers.  For the past six years, Unlimited Coaching Solutions has facilitated the program, expanding the depth and breadth of the curriculum.  This year's class has committed to building connections within the community by providing a program for youth to experience community service.

Applications must be filled out and returned to the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce by July 31, 2009 ($100 deduction in tuition if returned by July 1, 2009)

Who Should Participate?

Those who desire to develop their leadership skills and potential; those who have a strong continuing interest in and commitment to the Finger Lakes region; those with the desire to emerge as a community leader and stronger professional in their chosen field.
