31 – LODI, NY – Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars located at 9224 State Route 414 in Lodi, NY has their 2007 Spring Collaborative Art Show on display through the end of May. This exhibit, through May 31, is attractively displayed throughout the Lamoreaux Landing Winery with hours: Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday 12 noon – 5:00 pm. JUNE

1-5 – GENEVA, NY -- "The Lives of Others," winner of this year's Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, screens at 7 p.m., June 1, 2, 4, and 5 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 3 at the Smith Opera House, 82 Seneca St.  Intellectually challenging and profoundly emotional, "The Lives of Others" is in German with English subtitles. It is rated R and has a running time of two hours, 17 minutes. Tickets are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens. 1-17 – HAMMONDSPORT, NY – “To Have and to Hold,” an exhibit of classic wedding gowns of yesteryear, presented by Lorraine Loomis-König, is on display until June 17, 2007, at The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum of early aviation and local history.  Open daily from 9-5, Mon-Sat, and 10-5 on Sunday, the Curtiss Museum is located at 8419 State Route 54, Hammondsport.  Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors 65 and older, and $4.00 for students 7-18.  Children 6 and under are free.  Group rates for 10 or more are available.  607-569-2160. 6 – GENEVA, NY – Professional Photographer, Jan Regan of Jan Regan Photography has been named Citizen of the Year by the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce and will be honored at a dinner on June 6, 2007 at the Geneva Country Club sponsored by Lyons National Bank. This award has been given annually for the last 42 years to an individual who has unselfishly given to the community and who has created a more dignified, unique place in which we all work and live. Tickets to the event are $45.00 per person for members and $55.00 per person for nonmembers. Corporate table sponsorships are also available. 14 – GENEVA, NY – The Farmer’s Market will open on June 14th at 7:30 a.m. in the Exchange Street Parking in Downtown Geneva.  The Farmer’s Market is an outdoor market located in downtown Geneva, at the Exchange Street Parking Lot in the newly revitalized area of Lyons National Bank and the Hampton Inn.  Plenty of free parking to the rear of the Market; enter from Geneva Street.  Handicapped parking space is available on Exchange Street and in the rear of the parking lot.

16 – PENN YAN, NY – “Kites over Keuka” Combine fresh air and wine tasting, and support a community effort. Keuka Spring Vineyards will host the third annual “Kites over Keuka” Saturday, June 16 from 11 am to 5 pm. This unique event includes the opportunity to fly kites, wine tasting, live music, and hot food.  Visitors are encouraged to bring their own kite, while a limited number of kites will be available for purchase at the winery. Refreshments will also be available for purchase and wine tasting is complementary.  “Kites over Keuka” is free and open to the public. 25  – GENEVA, NY – The Smith Opera House’s 10th annual “Medley of Tastes” will once again be held in and around Houghton House on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. The popular wine and food tasting fundraising event is scheduled for Monday, June 25 from 5 p.m. until 7:30.  Located off of South Main Street in Geneva, Houghton House is hidden deep amidst a cornucopia of trees and greenery. Its driveway through the woods is long and winding; its seclusion and grandeur help set the stage for an elegant and inviting evening of fabulous food and delicious drink.  If you only heard about last year’s sold-out “Medley,” then be sure to get your tickets early and don’t miss out. Of the 400 tickets that were made available in January, only 50 remain.
